"You know I'm a good listener, but sometimes I need to talk too... My life... It was normal, a bit, I guess... I'm sorry, I'm not used to this. So... I was born in Liverpool, in a normal family. We had a nice house, my parents worked hard. My mother worked in a restaurant and my father was a teacher. We just had what we needed to have a decent normal life. My mother used to tell me that my brother Matthew, who is 9 years older than me, never liked me, because I stole all the attention from him. I'll get to that later...
My childhood was pretty normal... I was in a private school until 4th year, and started the 1st year one year younger than the other kids... I had plenty of friends. Not like you remember most of them since you are pretty young by that time, but I have some good memories, even if some of them are blurry. My brother would ignore me anywhere, anytime. We had the same education but we're so different...
It was time to go to a new school, in which I stayed from 5th to 9th year. I really liked my classmates, and I remember most of them. We were all together in the same class those 5 years. Olivia was in that class. She was such a hyperactive girl. We were kind of best friends, even if she got us in trouble sometimes. So... I was 9 when 5th year started and my brother was 18, and he just... started acting like a bully. Not just to me, but to our parents too, because of me. He obviously got grounded a lot of times. I guess he really hated me... Did I do something wrong?
A month or two went by and... Matthew ran away, he left our home. He was already an adult but he wasn't dating anyone and didn't have a job... My parents were dead worried. I wasn't that worried, to be honest, but he was my brother anyways. We didn't get news about him for a very long time. My parents were not in their greatest mood for a good time, and I felt bad for it. My brother left us because of me, wasn't it? Still, we had to continue our lives.
Anyways, besides what my brother did, my life continued to be normal. I had good grades in school, had tons of fun with my friends, I played board games with my parents at home. Actually, things were better at home without Matthew there. Am I a bad person for saying that? The years went by, I was in the 8th year and my parents got me a computer. I used my parents' one for school works before but this would be only for me and for whatever I wanted. That was when I got contact with online games. Well I played them sometimes in my friends' house, but it was like one time per month or something like it.
I eventually got addicted to some games, communicating with my friends online, that kind of stuff. My parents didn't like it. It wasn't healthy. I knew it... But it was so fun. My school grades didn't lower, so it wasn't that bad. So, before 9th year ended, Olivia moved to the USA. It was a shame, but we had fun.
Once again, it was time to change to a new school. I admit that I was nervous the first days, but I started to like it. I missed my old friends but the new ones were cool too. I was 14 by then, and there were some other 14 year old students in my class, so I didn't feel too different. My grades were still good, and I was still a gaming addict. Well... kinda. I was working on that, or at least trying. So, time was passing by... I was almost finishing 12th year and...
...I... Well... It's still hard to believe... My brother... He's after me... He almost got me... He could've gotten me, but he didn't... He found me and he could've killed me but he didn't... He told me that he wanted to do it badly, but he didn't because my Rotom paralyzed him. Should I be happy? I'm still afraid. He said he would come for me someday, and I think he will. I can't defend myself at all. I've got some nice Pokémon and I owe my life to one of them but... It was just luck I guess. I told my parents and they called the police. They didn't make any progress on finding him. He could be anywhere... And I was still in the same place...
I had to run. I had to learn how to defend myself. My parents did some research and found a Pokémon Academy somewhere far away. I would be safe there wouldn't I? I begged them to let me join it, and they agreed. I was worried about them too but Matthew didn't even reference them. I got this feeling he's only after me. I hope I was right...
Here's my story. It makes me feel better to be talk about it but... I'm still scared today."

- Arachnophobia. The slight mention of spiders makes him shiver. Oddly enough, he likes Ariados and Galvantula.
- Being left alone, having no friends, no one to trust and to have fun with.
- Mike's biggest fear is that his brother finds him and succeeds on what he didn't when he last saw him.

- Serac, Rotom-W - Serac always helped in taking care of Mike, and even saved him from his brother, so they have a really strong bond. One of the tankiest Pokémon in the team, it can provide utility with status moves, or deal a big chunk of damage with some hard hitting attacks.
Notable Moves: Will-O-Wisp, Thunder Wave, Pain Split, Hydro Pump, Volt Switch, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam. - Squall, Manectric (♂) - Playing around the house with Yune and Mike and his family since he was a little Electrike, Squall is a very energetic Pokémon, focusing on all-out offense. With his amazing speed he makes holes in the enemy team with fast and powerful moves.
Notable Moves: Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Flamethrower, Overheat, Hidden Power Ice, Signal Beam. - Corona, Talonflame (♀) - A bit of a troublemaker in a playful way, flying around the house, throwing everything into the floor until stopped by Serac, Corona loves her Flying moves. With good physical power, she can break through many teams with ease.
Notable Moves: Brave Bird, Acrobatics, Flare Blitz, U-Turn, Roost, Will-O-Wisp, Swords Dance. - Petra, Forretress (♀) - The most quiet on the team and very shy, Petra hides on her shell when it gets too troublesome or when someone or something startles her. The other tanky Pokémon, Petra's function is mainly to spread hazards and spin away those that can be a problem to the VoltTurn strategy. However, she can still deal some decent amount of damage.
Notable Moves: Stealth Rock, Spikes, Toxic Spikes, Rapid Spin, Volt Switch, Earthquake, Gyro Ball. - Zephyr, Mienshao (♂) - Zephyr used to physically train with Mike's dad back in the house. Being the other physically oriented Pokémon in the main team, he often leads the battle, using swift and powerful moves to quickly beat his enemies in direct combat, exiting the field shortly after with U-Turn.
Notable Moves: Fake Out, Stone Edge, Hi Jump Kick, U-Turn, Acrobatics, Knock Off, Taunt. - Gale, Greninja (♂) - The most competitive on the team, Gale doesn't accept losing a battle, unless to a very worthy opponent. Using powerful special moves, he makes a lot of use of his ability, Protean, and immense agility, to totally wreck the enemy while recieving minimal damage.
Notable Moves: Hydro Pump, Surf, Ice Beam, Dark Pulse, Hidden Power Fire, Extrasensory, U-Turn.
Boxed:
<li wytiwyg="1">Yune, Xatu (♀) - A friendly Pokémon, Yune often played with Squall and Corona back in the house. Her function in the team is as of a support, making using of her Magic Bounce ability and using some support oriented moves.
Notable Moves: Thunder Wave, Toxic, Light Screen, Reflect, Roost, U-Turn, Night Shade, Psychic.

<li wytiwyg="1">Gaia, Claydol - Another bulky and support Pokémon, like Petra, who Gaia is friendly with, it is a bit shy, and its main role is to spin hazards. However, it can deal a bit more damage than Petra, with the price of not being able to Volt Switch.
Notable Moves: Rapid Spin, Stealth Rock, Toxic, Earthquake, Gyro Ball, Ice Beam, Psychic, Shadow Ball.

<li wytiwyg="1">Flint, Scizor (♂) - The least friendly on the team and perhaps a bit too violent sometimes, Flint is a physical powerhouse. With strong physical moves, he can wreck through most teams defenses easily.
Notable Moves: Superpower, U-Turn, Bullet Punch, Bug Bite, Pursuit, Knock Off, X-Scissor, Swords Dance.</li>
